Somewhere in the Outlaw Galaxy, a beat-up ship drifts at the edge of nowhere. The crew has debts, a busted drive, and a playlist that fits the mood a little too well. This is Orbital Blues - a lo-fi space western where the stories you tell together matter more than anything on your character sheet.
Created by SoulMuppet Publishing and built on a clean d6 system, Orbital Blues uses just three stats - MUSCLE, GRIT, and SAVVY - to handle rolls and uncertainty. No classes, no complicated builds. You pick your Troubles, the things that follow your character around, and then the session begins. The rules stay lean by design, leaving room for the conversations, the silences, and the moments that linger long after the table clears.
The book is 208 full-colour pages and looks like a relic from the world itself: raw, beautifully designed, and packed with illustrations that set the tone immediately. It includes rules for Crews and ships, a substantial GM section with scenario tools, a complete star system ready to explore, and enough bandits, corporate goons, and quiet space stations to fill dozens of sessions.
For anyone who ever thought: I want something like Cowboy Bebop but at a table. This is that game.
