We’ll always be happy to help you find your way through the wonderful world of TTRPGs!

Not as separate purchases. If a physical book or boxed set comes with a PDF or digital extras, you’ll get them automatically as part of that product. We’re all for convenience - but TTRPGs shine as physical treasures: weighty books, gorgeous art, and that satisfying moment when the story lives on your table.

Most titles are in English. In the Dutch Tabletop Treasures category, you’ll find games and books by Dutch creators and occasionally Dutch-language editions. Check the product page for each item’s language.

A TTRPG is a story-driven game you play together at a table (or online). Players create characters and describe what they do. Dice and rules help decide outcomes. Many games use a Game Master (GM), but some are solo or GM-less.

Board games usually have clear win conditions and tightly defined rules. In RPGs, the story comes first and your options are much more open. You play a character and respond to situations.

Often yes, but not always. Traditional games usually use a GM. There are also solo RPGs, co-op games, and GM-less systems where the group shares narrative control.

Usually: the core rules (or a starter set), dice (or a dice app), pencil/paper, and a place to play. Many starter sets include pre-gens and an adventure.

Rules-light means faster rules and more improv. Crunchy means more detail, tactics, and subsystems. Both can be great, it depends on your group.

OSR broadly means Old School Renaissance/Revival: games inspired by older D&D-style play, emphasizing danger, player creativity, and fast character sheets.

A solo journaling RPG is played alone, usually with prompts. You write scenes or journal entries and use cards/dice to generate twists.

A zine is a smaller booklet of adventures, settings, or rules - often indie and highly creative. A module is usually a playable adventure (one-shot or mini-campaign).

Shipping

All orders set out on their journey from our home base in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands. That means quick and reliable delivery across the EU, and no nasty VAT surprises along the way.

In the Netherlands, most parcels reach their destination in 1 - 3 business days. EU adventurers usually receive theirs within 3 - 7 days, depending on the realm. Outside the EU, it may take a little longer as customs roll their dice. Don’t worry, you’ll get a tracking link to follow your loot on its quest.

Yes. Shipping within the Netherlands is free. Local stock + short carrier routes = zero shipping costs for you.

We calculated an average flat fee across the EU countries we ship to most. You pay a flat fee of €9,95 at checkout: no surprises, no handling markups.

Orders of € 100,00 and above have free shipping througout the eu.

Possibly. Duties and taxes are set by your local customs authority and aren’t part of our shipping fee. If necessary, we include clear paperwork to help parcels clear smoothly.

Yes. All orders include tracking. You’ll receive your link as soon as we dispatch.

No. No dropshipping and no multi-hop surprises. Everything ships directly from our Leeuwarden stockroom.

We do ship worldwide. Costs depend on destination, size, and carrier options, and they’re often higher than EU shipping since every parcel leaves from Leeuwarden, Netherlands. We keep our process simple and transparent to avoid raising product prices.

Why our pricing works this way?

We’re a small, tabletop-loving company: no dropshipping, no complex multi-warehouse setup. Keeping shipping simple (one stockroom, careful packing, clear pricing) saves time and overhead. If we tried to optimize dozens of country-specific rates, we’d spend more on admin and carriers, which would force us to increase product prices and we don’t want that.

Tip for non-EU customers:

If you have a local retailer for the same title, compare total landed cost (product + shipping + duties). If we’re still your pick: awesome! We’ll pack it safely and ship it from Leeuwarden. And if we're not: No hard feelings, we all want to keep our awesome hobby affordable.
