Shipping Policy (Netherbook)

Netherbook ships tabletop roleplaying games and accessories from the Netherlands. Below you’ll find how shipping works, delivery times, costs, tracking, and what to do if something goes wrong.
1) Where we ship
We ship to:
The Netherlands
Most EU countries
Selected non-EU destinations (when available at checkout)
If your country does not appear at checkout, we currently do not ship there.
2) Stock only (no preorders or backorders)
We only sell items that are in stock. This means:
No preorders
No backorders
If you can place the order, the item is available in our warehouse
3) Processing time
Orders are usually processed within 1-2 business days (Monday-Friday).
During busy periods (launches, holidays, large restocks) processing may take longer. If so, we’ll do our best to keep you informed.
4) Delivery times (estimates)
Delivery time starts after your order has been processed and handed to the carrier.
Typical estimates:
Netherlands: 1-2 business days
Belgium: 1-3 business days
EU (most countries): 2-7 business days
Non-EU: 5-15 business days (varies by destination and customs)
These are estimates, not guarantees. Carriers, weather, peak seasons, and customs inspections can cause delays.
5) Shipping costs
Netherlands: free shipping
EU: flat rate €9,95, or free shipping on orders above €100,-
Other international destinations: flat rate €24,95
Any applicable free shipping thresholds or promotions will be shown automatically at checkout.
6) Carriers
We ship using PostNL and international partner carriers working with PostNL for delivery in your country.
7) Tracking (track and trace)
We always provide track and trace when available.
When tracking is available for your shipment, you’ll receive a tracking link by email as soon as your order ships.
8) Customs, VAT, and import fees (non-EU)
For orders shipped outside the EU:
Prices may be shown without EU VAT depending on your location and checkout settings.
You may need to pay import VAT, customs duties, and/or handling fees on delivery. These are charged by your local authorities/carrier and are not included in our shipping prices.
Netherbook cannot predict or reimburse these fees.
9) Address accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. If an address is incomplete or incorrect and the parcel is returned to us:
We can reship it once you confirm the corrected address (additional shipping costs may apply), or
We can refund the order excluding original shipping costs (if shipping was charged).
If you notice an error right after ordering, contact us as soon as possible. If the order has already shipped, we may not be able to change it.
10) Lost, delayed, or damaged shipments
If something goes wrong, contact us and we’ll help.
Delays:
If tracking hasn’t updated for several days, it’s often a carrier scan delay. Still, message us and we’ll investigate.
Lost parcels:
A parcel may be considered lost after the carrier’s official investigation period. Once confirmed lost, we will offer a replacement (if available) or a refund.
Damaged parcels:
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:
Photos of the outer box/packaging
Photos of the damage to the item(s)
Your order number
We’ll work with you on a suitable solution (replacement, partial refund, or refund depending on the case).
11) Refused or uncollected parcels
If a parcel is refused or not collected and is returned to us:
We can reship it (shipping costs may apply), or
Refund the order excluding original shipping costs (and excluding any return fees charged by the carrier, if applicable).
