The 44-page adventure runs as a three-session mini-campaign driven by a ticking clock: three fully mapped and keyed locations, from sun-scorched surface ruins to a long-sealed vault and a necropolis buried deep beneath the sand, ten dangerous alien artifacts, and rival factions of ambitious academics, corporate commandos, ruthless smugglers and ancient caretakers. Two starting scenarios let your crew join the official expedition or raid the ruins as members of Smoking Darkness Reclamations.

The deluxe box set turns the adventure into a shelf-ready package: the Awaiting the Burning Gods zine, the companion zine The Smuggler's Guide to 1365 (with a new Smuggler class and a toolkit for a blockade-running campaign), a Warden reference screen, a poster map of the ruins and surrounding desert, custom dice, faction patches and a character sheet pad.
