You are a cat, and you have just arrived in your new home. For the first time you are alone in this unfamiliar place, so you set out to explore it. Will your exploration be cozy and curious, or chaotic and destructive?

Catcrawl is a GM-less or solo roleplaying game for 1 to 4 players by Jasmin Neitzel and Andrea Rick. It combines hexcrawl-style exploration with story game techniques: you take turns playing the cat, describing the rooms and narrating the consequences of the cat's actions, moving across an apartment map of 24 squares. When the exploring is done, the cat curls up for a nap.

The game needs no preparation and no prior experience, which makes it a lovely first roleplaying game, a quick one-shot between campaigns, or a gentle solo session at the end of a long day. It also plays well with kids. Play time is flexible, from 30 minutes to 3 hours.
